Let’s compare the language, layout and design of the Victoria Police website homepage with that of Alpha magazine.

Alpha is a more colourful website of sport and all other great things that are male and the website uses Australian slang and shortened words, their technique is also different in the way they show the different things of Alpha magazine compared to the Victorian police. The police website wants to look professional and structured, with links that look more like informative links than advertising links, the Alpha website uses more enthusiasm to put forth what they are advertising to the online audience, but the Victoria website has a search bar engine unlike Alpha magazine. So to conclude The police website is simplistic in its design and doesn’t scroll down that  far unlike the Alpha website.
